- The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased 0.8% in November after rising 0.9% in October.
- CPI increased 6.8% from a year ago, the highest reading in 39 years.
- Prices remained above 5% for the sixth straight month.
- The core CPI, which excludes food and energy, rose 0.5% in November and is up 4.9% from the previous year.
- The energy index is up 33.3% and the food index is up 6.1% from the previous year.
